The thought manifests as the word. The word manifests as the deed. The deed develops into habit. And the habit hardens into character. So watch the thought and its ways with care. And let it spring from love, born out of concern for all beings.

Founders 275 Paul Graham's Essays（Part I and Part II）：主播David Senra总结了美国硅谷创业教父Paul Graham的文章，整理成这两期播客。总结的内容对创业者、技术工作者都很有用。一些对我来说有意义的点：
（1）人生目标
My father told me I could be whatever I wanted when I grew up, so long as I enjoyed it.
我父亲告诉我，我长大后可以成为我想成为的任何人，只要我喜欢。
从小拥有这种没有限制的思维模式是大部分创业者的特质，而限制性思维是让大部分人泯然众人的原因。
（2）热爱的事
Do what you love doesn't mean, do what you would like to do most this second.
做你喜欢的事并不意味着，做你这一秒钟最想做的事。
If something that seems like work to other people doesn't seem like work to you, that's something you're well suited for.
如果在其他人看来是工作的东西，在你看来却不像工作，那就是你很适合的事情。
Find work that feels like play. 找到感觉像游戏的工作。
真正热爱的事情总是和长期价值和每一天的努力过程相关。
（3）独立思考
The independent-minded are often unaware how different their ideas are from conventional ones, at least till they state them publicly.

You should not worry about prestige. This is easy advice to give. It’s hard to follow.

You have to make a conscious effort to keep your ideas about what you want from being contaminated by what seems possible.

The cheaper your company is to operate, the harder it is to kill.

If I were running a startup, this would be the phrase I'd tape to the mirror. "Make something people want" is the destination, but "Be relentlessly resourceful" is how you get there.

What makes companies fail most of the time is poor execution by the founders. A lot of times founders are worried about competition. YC has founded 1900+ companies. 1 was killed by competitors. You have the same protection against competitors that light aircraft have against crashing into other light aircraft. Do you know what the protection is? Space is large.
