Due to banking issues, Quaily has temporarily suspended processing payments through the platform's Stripe account.
Affected payment methods include credit cards, WeChat Pay, Alipay, and other fiat currency payment methods processed through Quaily's platform Stripe account.
Scope of Impact
If a Channel only has Quaily's platform Stripe enabled, readers will temporarily be unable to complete the following actions with fiat currency:
- Purchasing paid subscriptions
- Renewing existing subscriptions
Completed orders and existing membership benefits will not be affected. Non-payment features such as article publishing, email delivery, and free subscriptions remain unaffected.
The following two payment methods continue to work normally:
- Self-hosted Stripe configured by the author
- Cryptocurrency payments
Available Alternative Payment Methods
Self-hosted Stripe
Authors who have a Stripe account can enable self-hosted Stripe. Payments will be processed through the author's own Stripe account, bypassing Quaily's platform Stripe account.
Before enabling this, you'll need to prepare Quaily Credits and configure the Stripe API Key and Webhook in your dashboard.

Cryptocurrency Payments
Quaily currently supports networks including Ethereum, Base, BSC, and Solana. After a reader completes payment, the assets go directly into the author's linked wallet — Quaily does not custody these assets.

Do Authors Need to Take Action?
If your channel already has self-hosted Stripe or cryptocurrency payments configured, no changes to your existing settings are needed.
If your channel currently only uses Quaily's platform Stripe and you wish to continue accepting paid subscriptions during this period, you can enable either of the alternative payment methods mentioned above.
