Obsidian’s file explorer is presented as a single pane, allowing users to open, delete, and move files. If your vault contains a large number of folders or has deep hierarchies, operations can become somewhat cumbersome. This is where plugins come in to enhance functionality, such as File Tree Alternative. A recently released plugin, [Notebook Navigator], offers similar features but with an interface and appearance reminiscent of Evernote. For beginners accustomed to Evernote’s dual-pane layout, it provides an excellent entry point.
Notebook Navigator offers a wide range of settings, giving users ample customization options. With these settings, you can adjust file operations to perfectly match your preferred workflow.
In version v1.5.3, Notebook Navigator’s settings have been integrated, allowing configuration in Chinese mode. If you have suggestions for translations, feel free to leave me a comment for corrections.
